Key challenge

Writer of local daily deals and city savvy ‘best things to do’, for Scotland for Living Social (American coupon-based website service and fastest growing rival to Groupon). The challenge was to provide 130-word witty pieces rather than advetorials, with deals assigned at short notice requiring fast turnaround. It requires a sense of humour, attention to detail and ability to wax lyrical about everything from Brazilian hair removal techniques, cupcakes, zumba and everything in between; and a local insider’s knowlede of Edinburgh and Glasgow. The three ingredients for copy are: inform, entice and delight.

Soon you’ll be hooked on the hour-long fix of fat burning, body-energising, captivating classes. Take one day at a time – with venues across Glasgow you’ll only be a shimmy away from a class. Bring a buddy, to help you through the times when one class is not enough. Grab today’s deal and tell the world ‘I’m fitter, firmer and stronger because of Zumbaholics’. ”
